The portfolio includes short variants for stable machining and long variants (>7×D) for deep cavities. The conically reinforced variants increase stability with high overhangs. In addition, cylindrical continuous variants offer high flexibility in application.
The recessed center minimizes wear, especially in flat areas. Large chip pockets enable high axial infeeds (>0.5×D1) for efficient material removal. A 10μm tolerance and the adapted flank design ensure dimensional accuracy and tool life.
The tool design focuses on long runtimes with consistent surface quality (<3μm Rz). The combination of features ensures dimensional accuracy over the radius and offers broad versatility in roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing.
Designed for hard and wear-resistant materials in die & mold, such as hardened steels, hardened tool steels (up to 65 HRC) 1.2379, 1.2343, 1.2367 or powder metallurgical steels such as 1.3343, ASP23, REX M4. The high precision and axial infeed capability support efficient roughing and finishing as well as high-precision machining processes.
Suitable for economical roughing and finishing, such as embossing dies in sheet metal forming and demanding machining in powder steels (>60HRC). The features support precise machining with long runtimes in die & mold.
This tool is regrindable. Restoration of geometry and coating. We make your tool process-capable again.
