The two-flute design allows for stable infeeds and high feed rates. The stable cutting geometry enables an axial infeed up to 1xD and ensures high dimensional accuracy for defined engraving depths. The geometry prevents burr formation and is usable from as low as 15,000 rpm, meaning no high-frequency spindle is required.
The portfolio includes dimensions from r0.1 mm to r0.5 mm. It offers standard conics of 10°, 15°, and 30°. Special geometries are available on request.
The stable cutting geometry enables an axial infeed of up to 1xD. This reduces machining time compared to classic engraving machining by up to ten times.
The tool design enables process-integrated engraving of logos or markings, making separate operations such as EDM or lasering obsolete. The optimized cutting geometry produces clean, burr-free engravings. High process security ensures sharp contours, even in harder materials. The variety of variants allows for exact adaptation to engraving details.
Universally designed for unhardened steels (e.g., 1.1730, 42CrMo) as well as hardened tool steels up to 56 HRC (e.g., 1.2343, 1.2311).
Ideally suited for engraving flow aids and waffle patterns in mold making. The tool design supports the introduction of logos, mold markings, batch numbers, or type plates directly into the tool cavity, for example in die casting or injection moulding molds.
